Bit

Bits are a category of item found in [REDACTED]. They are small depictions of characters usually dropped by a small random chance upon defeating the enemy, or by other special means. They appear as NES-styled versions of characters, specifically resembling sprites from Super Mario Bros. or The Legend of Zelda. They serve as a method to provide flavourful descriptions of the respective character, and can be consumed in exchange for some points or dropped on the floor when the player is finished with it.
