[[Shrumoom]]s are enemies set to appear in ''[[Tunnels from Nowhere]]''. They are weak creatures that imitate [[mushlet]]s, both in appearance and behaviour, simply moving forward for a melee attack before sliding backward. Shrumooms are related to [[Shrodney]]s rather than being actual members of the mushlet species. 

The name "shrumoom" is simply a distortion of "mushroom" with the first "M" and cluster of consonants in the middle swapped around.

== Trivia ==

* The concept of a spotted enemy that imitates another species was inspired by Dwarf Bulborbs of the ''Pikmin'' series, which imitate the young of real Bulborbs despite being of an entirely different family of creatures.
