Hill People are a group of people native to Ricky Hills. They appear to be normal humans, though often don't speak and have aggressive, animalistic behaviour. They seem to be based in the Between, a dark realm underneath the hills.
Hill People first appear in Ricky War and have since returned in Kevin War and Rodney's Tunnel, always serving an antagonistic role.
Ricky War
Hill People are one of two antagonistic forces in Ricky War. They oppose both Ricky Attack and Ricky Defense, and fight for the natural chaotic order that will send Ricky Hills into disarray. They first appear in what is lost cannot be found shortly after a failed ritual and Ricky shouting loudly. A group of them chase him down and capture him after he falls on the ice, taking him to their domain.
In the following episode, "ricky ritual", Ricky is tormented by multiple Hill People until he is brought back to the overworld by a ritual. The Hill People seem to remain dormant for the remainder of the series.
Rodney's Tunnel
Hill People return as enemies in Rodney's Tunnel, found in Between Ricky Hills and Signature Walls. They will charge at the player, usually able to outrun them. Then, they slowly charge up a swing of their arm to claw at the player for relatively high damage. Six of them support the Yoper in its boss battle.
A red variant, the Red Man, is twice as durable and almost twice as strong. They are found in Red Realm and can be summoned by Rodney along with Shrodneys in his second phase. Due to this connection, it is evident that their name is derived from Red Cran, the raging spirit that became Rodney.
