Gamer girls are a species of gaming-based humanoids in Tunnels from Nowhere as residents of the Gaming Tunnel. They are abstract women comprised of various console and controller parts, making up a human-like robot body. They are passive and will talk to the player when interacted with, but they don't seem to hold any disdain for the video gamers which act as enemies.
"Gamer girl" is a popular term to describe women who play video games, used often in contexts meant to invoke post-ironic humour. Their individual naming convention is based on that of auto-generated or formulaic gamertags, most akin to those on Xbox 360, which follow the structure of one verb/adjective, followed by a noun and 3 assorted numbers at the end.
