Binetek was a conceptual Minecraft mod created by jusipat and cflip with textures by Kjolt. The mod was conceptualized roughly around September 21st, 2021 as the age of certain files suggest. It was going to be a simple tech tree mod in which players could research different types of production, such as creating coke fuel and more potent fertilizers. Players would use four different books in order to research technologies, crafted by interacting with a tech table block. These tech book items consisted of "chemical", "construction", "order" and "weaponry", based on the file names for their textures. It is unknown precisely what plans were had for most of the technology, including the methods by which research would be conducted.

One feature from this project made its way into Bathroom Blocks, being the fertilizer bag. The interest in creating this mod was soon overshadowed by CastleBlocks, a PvP mod focused on base defense.

== Trivia ==

* The textures folder for this mod include an unofficial texture for a copper ingot. While the mod doesn't predate the Caves and Cliffs update in which copper was added, this may have been a result of the mod being planned for 1.16 or prior as several Minecraft mods before 1.17 would add their own copper items.
* In addition to copper, there are textures for sulfur ore and a sulfur item that appear as hue-shifted yellow lapis lazuli. This predates the eventual official sulfur added in Chaos Cubed, which exist now as full blocks rather than an ore.
