== Gameplay ==

The gameplay of ''BasketBALLAZ'' is a simple 2-dimensional basketball-throwing game. The player clicks and drags their mouse from the [[Bouncy Ball|basketball]], which inversely determines the trajectory and force of the ball in a similar fashion to the slingshot in ''Angry Birds''. The player must left click to respawn a still ball, and ghost arrow will indicate the last thrown direction of the ball afterward. When released, the ball will be thrown. The objective is to land the ball into the court's hoop as many times as possible within a time limit of 30 seconds. For every successful shot, the timer will increase by 10 seconds. If a certain threshold is reached, the next "phase" is initiated. This will enable an additional challenge, such as the ball being forced to spawn further from the hoop. If the timer runs out, the player will simply be asked to click again to restart.

== Visuals ==

The game features a simplistic pixel art style. The background environment is flat-coloured and lineless, with the exception of the more detailed wooden boards of the court floor. This is to contrast the foreground elements, the basketball and the hoop, having outlines and basic lighting/shading to stand out. The court seen in the above screenshot is an earlier version and the updated, larger one was never implemented.
