Nelly is a minor character yet to formally debut. She is made of a glossy teal gummy substance with her mouth and eyes appearing solid white inside. Her hair is seemingly the same as her skin, consisting mainly of three asymmetrical round bumps and loose “hair” at the back that can be down or tied up. Her form is loose and bendy, with spindly limbs coming from her more solid, round torso. She has four-digit extremities, and prominently large, round feet stabilizing her unbalanced figure. wears a simple yellow swimsuit, two yellow anklets, two shoulder floaties and a large white and salmon-pink inner tube around her waist. In some contexts, she simply wears a pink cropped sweater and long yellow sweatpants.

She is a 20-year-old woman working as a pastry chef at a boardwalk donut shop. She is usually accompanied by her small younger sister Connie, who she seems to take care of independently as they are the only two known members of their family. Despite her usual outfit, she has an aversion to swimming and simply wears it for her liking of floaties. This disliking likely stems from the kinds of dangerous aquatic creatures that exist near and are at war with her home.

* Aside from work, Nelly has an interest in glass tiles and their applications in interior design.

* Early on, her design was born as an antithesis to an online artist phenomenon that was popularized on Twitter around early 2020. It involves female characters being given heavily exaggerated and unrealistic proportions, such as large hips, extremely thin waists and legs ending without feet. Nelly was conceived partially to invert this trope by being exaggerated in opposite ways.

Gummers with "hair" simply have looser, malleable flesh that takes on a shape similar to hair, but rather than being in strands it is a bulbous mass. [[Table]] is a minor character who has not properly debuted in any project yet. She is a 25-year-old humanoid with white skin, and her other features like irises, hair and inner mouth are a sea green. Her eyes are half-shut (shaped like thin semi-circles) and slightly extend past her head, with long downward lashes protruding further. She lacks a nose or visible ears, and only has 4 digits per extremity, like other characters of adjacent species. She almost always is shown wearing clothes of the exact same lavender colour.

Table is most known for being drawn at whim by [[Kjolt]], being one of the first publicly shown characters since the Kjolt moniker was put in place. Despite her spotlight in this regard, she was originally designed to be a background character in a currently undeveloped, large-scale project. She was originally conceptualized around late 2017, but would be redesigned and repurposed near the start of 2021.

==Personality and Lore==

Table is characterized by her near-perpetual tiredness due to a mundane adult life. She dawns eye bags under her half-closed eyes and is often frowning, not from emotion but from exhaustion. She has a tendency to speak in a confused manner and come off as cranky. She usually only feels awake and explicitly happy around her friend [[Lamp]], who lives on her planet in the same city. On her own, Table enjoys to go for walks in various spots. She is known to have an unusual liking for being outside in cold weather while wearing light clothing, as if rainy conditions are naturally comfortable.

In spite of boredom and exhaustion, she lives a mostly peaceful life. However, she has severe paranoia about alien invasion. This fear is a little greater than it is in others but is not unjustified, due to a real precedent within the world of that happening. Her fears and negative feelings usually subside if she is spending time with Lamp.

Her name has nothing to do with her being similar to the furniture; instead, its origin is quite convoluted. In Spanish, the English word "table" translates to "mesa". Because Mesa is a common female name, it can be inferred that her name is equivalent to it but is in English for the funny. The name is a direct reference to a long-dead inside joke about a former classmate of Kjolt.

[[Lamp]] is a minor character yet to formally debut. She is a 28-year-old humanoid with cyan skin and light red for her hair, eyes and clothing. Similarly to [[Wrigglewad]], she lacks physical arms and must rely on learned telekinesis to lift objects. She also lacks a visible nose and ears, as with many others like her. Her outfit usually completely covers her legs while her round midriff is open.

Lamp was made as a counterpart and close friend of [[Table]], and the two are sometimes involved in scenarios together in [[Kjolt]]'s drawings. Because of this, she also was created with the eventual purpose of being a background character in a future project. Her first iterations originate around early 2023.

The [[Gaming Tunnel]] is a location set to debut in ''[[Tunnels from Nowhere]]'', sharing its name with the music that plays here. It is a subterranean complex home to various [[gaming]]-related beings and objects, resembling a vast arcade and warehouse. It is home to the [[Gamer Girl|gamer girl]]s, who are the tunnel's most humanoid and intelligent residents. [[Video Gamer|video gamer]]s are the most common pest here, emerging from [[LAN Party|LAN parties]] to attack the player. Its boss, located on the final floor, is [REDACTED].

The walls of this tunnel are simple magenta-coloured bricks, with a variant lined with a strip of wallpaper across the middle. Along the top, the pattern features small images of a [[mushlet]], a [[bastard]], a [[Yoper]] and a [[duppy]] in green, red, yellow and blue respectively. Its flooring is composed of a retro arcade-style carpet with brightly-coloured abstract shapes on black, which also comes in a more homogenously grey variant that resembles faded painted concrete. It also features a unique shape of lantern with the same green and red as gamings surrounding the inner light.

[[Leitmotifs]] are defined as recurring musical ideas associated with a person, idea, event or place. In many [[Kjolt]] projects, leitmotifs take form in melodies, and sometimes in instrumentation. This page will serve to catalogue all notable instances of them across various projects that feature original music. While most were made by Kjolt, some tracks contain leitmotifs from other artists like [[cflip]]'s ''[[Signature Ball Adventure]]'' music.

The audio files on this page are simple piano renditions of each leitmotif, using their "base forms" that are iterated upon in various tracks.

== Boss A and B ==

This leitmotif is the first part of a recurring melody that frequently appears in boss music. It is a brief four-part melody where the first three have a similar ending, and the last is a variation. It is sometimes played by a chiptune-adjacent or softer instrument, and commonly appears after a track's tonal shift or drop. Usage of this melody may also allude to a character's alignment, in this case usually being toward a larger antagonistic entity or idea.

The Gaming leitmotif is a melody associated with [[gaming]]s and characters related to gamings. However, it originated in "VOTE THIS GUY" where the correlation is nigh absent. It is usually played by and alongside samples that are explicitly robotic and digital. The motif is somewhat foreboding, building anticipation toward or during a challenge. It can also appear in many variations, with certain notes beginning in different places or extra notes filling in.

Alongside this melody, other small motifs recur in gaming-related music. These include quick three-note ascending pattern that accentuates the ending of a measure, and retro game sound effects as additional percussion. These sound effects are taken from the ''WarioWare: D.I.Y.'' soundfont's 8-bit percussion. They also almost always include a sample from ''Mario Kart DS'', but this is also a trend among Kjolt's music as a whole.

== Red Cran ==

The Red Cran leitmotif is a melody found in original tracks directly related to [[Red Cran]] and [[Rodney]]. It originates from "Singing Kran" by cflip, which was then remixed by [[jprik]] as "hey cran gotem" and then again by Kjolt in the form of "That is it, Binny!". It is most often played using the [[Krab Bass]], an instrument sampled from [[Cran]]'s own voice. The instrument is always present for the leitmotif even if it is not playing the melody. The melody itself can be described as sporadic and agitated, matching the emotional energy of its associated character.

It is usually played by or alongside a triangle wave and strings. It originates from old BeepBox experiments by Kjolt around 2018, who was just getting a grip on how to compose.

While not quite a substantial melody of its own, this one is often accompanied by short arpeggios alternating up and down in a 3 note range. It is often played with a quiet bell instrument.

== Krubera ==

The Krubera leitmotif is a very simple melody in two parts that is often used for simple underground settings. The melody's notes are usually in pairs, making it sound fuller than it really is. Its first part is simply the same note six times before a higher single note. The second part has a bit more going on, but remains just about as simple. To add depth to the leitmotif, it is typically backed by long notes played either lower by the same instrument or by another for the whole duration. It also originates from old BeepBox experiments, and is named after one of Earth's deepest known caves.

[[Confectress]] is a candy witch who conjures sweets using a wand. She has pale yellow flesh and pink hair, and her face features foggy round glasses and two triangular lashes under each eye. She wears an ice cream cone-shaped hood, and her speckled magic cloak causes her body under her neck to become amorphous and hovering, allowing her hands to float independently of her body. Without it, she has normal arms, legs and feet. She is of an unspecified species.

She has yet to appear in any sort of project, but was conceptualized with the intent of being a boss in a video game.

* In the development of ''[[Rodney's Tunnel]]'', she was considered as the second boss of the game as a recycled idea from ''[[Frayscape]]''. [[Kjolt]] ultimately chose Wrigglewad to suit the planned [[Overgrowth Depths|overgrown swamp area]] better and because less assets would need to be made.

[[Wrigglewad]] is a tall Medusa-like witch who controls [[Snorm|snorm]]s. She is pale with oily black hair, bright eyes with green lashes and irises, black lips and circular feet. She wears only a long black skirt and a swarm of snorms around her torso, as opposed to her hair being made of snakes like a traditional interpretation of Medusa. She is of an unknown humanoid race with less features, notably a lack of arms, and relies on telekinesis to accomplish certain basic tasks.

She makes her official debut in ''[[Rodney's Tunnel]]'', and is set to reappear in ''[[Tunnels from Nowhere]]'' with her new music and moveset.

== Personality and Lore ==

Wrigglewad is portrayed as a chaotic, evil witch who possesses the ability to hold countless snorms under her domain. She is of an unknown origin and species, but is a capable magician in her own right and appears to wear a traditional look like those of her kind. Somewhat nomadic, she seeks out dark, swampy locations with dense vegetation such as [[Overgrowth Depths]] and the [[Iron Garden]] tunnel. She is victim to a recurring misfortune of settling into a place that is important for a protagonist to go through, impeding on her ownership of an area. Although she will respond by attacking intruders, she is not truly malevolent, only acting as a lesser villain whose views do not align with anything evil beyond taking over small areas.

Her demeanor is slightly hostile, but she has an elegant and civil manner of speech. She favours those she is closest to, primarily [[Confectress]], whom she endearingly calls "gummy worm". To others, she may indulge in mischief like scaring people into submission or hypnotizing them with her glowing eyes. Her magic is seemingly concentrated in her eyes due to her ability to shoot rings of energy from them, as they glow and pulsate a green off-white. The manner in which she gained dominion over snorms is unknown.

== Rodney's Tunnel ==

Wrigglewad is the second boss of the game, fought in [[Overgrowth Depths|Wrigglewad's Terrace]] which serves as the final section of [[Overgrowth Depths]]. She is the only boss with a single attack, being that she will charge toward the player and leave behind a trail of snorms. Then, she stops herself before firing several [[Energy Orb|energy orb]]s at either side of the player from her eyes, followed by a [[lightning]] bolt in the center. She is only vulnerable to damage while charging and attacking. When defeated, she will simply vanish.

His biggest role is in "[[gophers on a corn tortilla]]" in which he is credited as a fat dancing chud. He is well known for being hilarious as shit, and creating many drawings related to the fandom spaces he is part of.

[[Incendiary Pig|Incendiary pig]]s are very weak enemies found in ''[[Rodney's Tunnel]]''. They are burning pigs that move around without aim, dealing relatively strong damage to whatever it bumps into. However, due to low HP, they will die instantly from any attack and disappear after collapsing into a pile of smoldering flesh. They are most often found inside [[Box|boxes]] given the random chance of one appearing rather than an item. It is highly likely that they die as soon as they are released if the box is broken with a melee attack.

In [[What's 9 + 10?]], the final floor accessed after [[Rodney]]'s boss fight, a single incendiary pig named [[Incendiary Pig|THANKS FOR PLAYING -Kjolt]] is found. Though it serves mainly to display the ending message, it is technically the true final boss of the game.

The [[Tunnel Tests]] refers to unfinished test versions of ''[[Tunnels from Nowhere]]'', a [[Kjolt]] project in early conceptualization and a successor to ''[[Rodney's Tunnel]]''. It serves both to port over and improve existing features and to test new ones, such as NPCs and other interactive entities, all within an updated version of the same engine. Due to the unfinished nature of the Chinook engine, the tests are merely that and will likely have to be ported again in the case of a future stable, finalized version.

These tests also serve for experimental purposes beyond ''Tunnels from Nowhere'' and the ''Rodney's Tunnel'' remake, such as when the [[Gopher Alien|gopher alien]]s are seen in "[[gophers on a corn tortilla]]" as enemies or the ominous, foggy level in the video "[[terrible tunnel]]".

The [[Gopher Alien|gopher alien]]s are a group of highly intelligent, extraterrestrial rodents from the [[Rodent Nebula]] who invade the planet Earth in "[[gophers on a corn tortilla]]". They pilot UFOs, which contain other gopher aliens in vats in large quantities in order to conserve their energy during their trip through outer space. They appear like normal [[gopher]]s, only bright green, and with larger eyes and two thin antennae.

Their exact reasons are unknown, but the gopher aliens target Earth for invasion and made contact with Earth's rodents to act as spies. When they invade, they show no explicit hostility but often turn things in their vicinity green and have a liking for abducting objects, for experimentation or otherwise. Ironically, the people of Earth are more hostile despite not being the ones to start the conflict. When the gopher aliens speak, it is usually in a formal, friendly and calm manner. In contrast to this, many of the human writings in the same video are profane, illogical or aggressive. Gopher aliens are only seen actually fighting back once the war begins, as one is shown holding a [[P90]] before being defeated by [[Kevin]]. While assertive and threatening on the surface, the gopher aliens exhibit no direct hostility toward Earth; only curiosities. When told to surrender, they immediately retreat back to their home.

[[Spodermen]], alternatively Spoderman and often misspelled as Spooderman, is a popular and long-running internet meme depicting a crudely drawn and deformed Spider-Man. He is known for speaking in purposefully misspelled English and having more swag than anyone alive.

Spodermen's presence on this wiki is solely because of his use in "[[Spodermen Interviews the Yoper]]", a Kjolt parody video. Kjolt has no official tie to the now-defunct Spodermen YouTube channel or its late owner.

== Personality ==

Spodermen is known to be self-centered and very demeaning to others, cussing at them and even committing violent crimes without much hesitation. He has unrivaled "sweg" and claims to "fuk liek 837 biches evrydai". When his ego feels threatened or he sees an opportunity to degrade someone lesser than him, he may tell them to "fuk awf" or that they are "an fagit". Even his closest allies, like Juses, Spungebawb and Onkel Bin, are not spared from this behaviour.

== History ==

He is thought to have originated in the year 2012 at the latest, but not much is known about his true source. He often featured alongside other characters like Dolan Duk and Gooby in the ''Uncle Dolan Show'' and various comics. Over time, more high quality interpretations of the original Spodermen image were made in order to create more readable images and videos with the character.

Spodermen was further popularized by an "official" Spodermen YouTube channel ran by Saskatchewan resident Jordan Clory. In these videos, he covers all kinds of topics like playing video games, giving tutorials and interviewing topical people and characters. He is most often accompanied by Juses Crust, his friend and rival, who is a parody of Jesus Christ. The voices he and the other characters use were produced with ''Speakonia'', a text-to-speech audio program. Along with this, Spodermen also ran an official Twitter account with the username spodermenpls, though it was suspended likely due to stirring controversy.

The Spodermen channel was active until after summer of 2016, when regular videos suddenly stopped. In May of the next year, a video titled "SPODERMEN RETURNS" would be released to announce the return of Spodermen. However, no videos were ever published after this point. 4 years later, Spodermen would make a short series of community posts about losing his voice and seemingly having been hospitalized. Jordan Clory had largely moved on from the channel to pursue other things, including becoming a father. Unfortunately, he would pass away on February 14th, 2022 due to various struggles.

== Spodermen Interviews the Yoper ==

Spodermen appears "[[Spodermen Interviews the Yoper]]", a homage to the defunct YouTube channel that uses the same editing style, voices and images. Here, Spodermen interviews the [[Yoper]] (stylized as "yopur") and tries to figure out what its deal is. After getting only unsatisfactory answers, Spodermen's attitude quickly shifts and he begins to insult it, even saying "i liek [[Cuggy|kuggy]] moar den u".

He complies in order to save the hills from the clutches of the [[Hill Person|Hill People]] who are causing chaos. Kevin acquires Milkis from the [[Spanish Goblin]], keeping it safe at [[Kevin's House|his house]]. He is later attacked by Hill People, catching him off his guard but prompting him to train himself for combat knowing the threat they pose.

One night, Kevin brings the Milkis with him outside to once again meet with Cran, only to be attacked suddenly by the [[Hitman|hitman]]. He stumbles down a hill, separating from the Milkis though surviving the shot to the head. As he gets up and tries to escape into his car, the hitman once again catches up to him and kills him. However, Kevin's spirit is sent to ''[[Rodney's Tunnel]]'', the location in which the game of the same name takes place. Being the protagonist of that game, it can be assumed that he returns to life after defeating [[Rodney]], the spirit holding the realm together.

Much like the others, it is a series of rapid-fire edited memes with a loose theme throughout. It retains many recurring sources like [[Dark Man]], the "yogurt effect", and "it's a floater!". However, unlike the videos before it, this video leans even further into having a narrative. In this aspect, it is more similar to ''[[Kevin War]]''. Part of the way through, the Earth is invaded by the [[Gopher Alien|gopher alien]]s, and the overarching story revolves around this to the end.

Rodents like hamsters (edited from fractalcounty's "Hamster Movie") and rats are prominently shown, presumably in cahoots with the video's antagonists. The [[rulers of the earth planet]] send messages to the people of the planet Earth in an attempt to inform them about yogurt effects, but their writing ranges from perfectly legible to incoherent. After the first and second musical intermissions featuring the song "Foodbeat2b", a real-life video is shown of someone walking down a street in Alberta, Canada. Their camera pans upward to the moon, and suddenly a glowing, pulsing green object is seen noisily flying across the sky. The person runs in panic, and the video begins to break down. Meanwhile, in a computer terminal, transmissions from the [[Rodent Nebula]] are received. Some gopher aliens reveal themselves, declaring who they are and simply that they are invading Earth.

After a brief fake video game loading screen intermission, the music "Rodent Transmission" ([[cflip]]'s version) plays over the next scene. gopher aliens begin to interfere with some of the memes seen prior in the video, applying green filters and audio pitch adjustments to them. The gophers send a new transmission; they speak of abducting objects and "taking things away" from the residents of Earth because they want to, but also so that they can conduct experiments. They formally thank the humans on the receiving end of the transmission and sign off. Soon after, a young chimp and a human are walking together in the woods, and the chimp helps them up into his wooden house so that they can remain safe from the gopher aliens. Following this, two green humanoid aliens are shown discussing alien luxuries, and one says that he would prefer "an entire astronomical unit of property in the Cigar Galaxy". Then, the third and final "Foodbeat2b" segment conveys that all of Earth's residents have reached out to the "different aliens" from the Cigar Galaxy to assist in their conflict. The rulers of Earth are now gaining confidence in their ability to fight back for their home planet.

At Centre Block in Canada, a meeting of Earth's greatest minds takes place, where [[Cuggy]], Kjolt, [[RegentMarmot]] and [[Dokter Suess]] are seen seated inside the building. The Yoper is known to have originated as a fiction-within-fiction character in Kjolt's main universe, being a fake monster on a website called [[Neogoblin]]s. It is a parody of Creepypasta, a site hosting internet urban legends that are often seen as bizarre or corny despite their iconicity. The original image of the Yoper was an edited photo of a sea creature called a [[Sloper|sloper]] made to look nearly completely different. However, due to magical and biological meddling of a live sloper by an unknown individual, a Yoper was brought to life and contained in an underground facility as a ticking time bomb.

Yopers are instinctually violent creatures with one goal; to cause mass destruction and multiply. They plant their eggs at the cores of planets, and wish to multiply across their universe until there is nothing left and they may ascend to a higher plane of existence. They are said to behave like a living embodiment of strange internet humour, particularly YouTube Poops. Stronger Yopers have power over time and space within their vicinity, able to rewind, repeat and duplicate their own actions to create unpredictable world-bending attack patterns. The remixing of voice samples in "Yoper's Banana Juice" and the name of [[Ricky Hills#Rodney's Tunnel|Where There's Yope]] from ''[[Rodney's Tunnel]]'' further emphasize their connection to YTP culture.

== Plot ==

While the video is mostly the typical, nonsensical YouTube Poop antics, the seeds of the story are planted even before the major shift around the 8-minute mark. Rodents like hamsters (edited from fractalcounty's "Hamster Movie") and rats are prominently shown, presumably in cahoots with the video's antagonists. The [[rulers of the earth planet]] send messages to the people of the planet Earth in an attempt to inform them about yogurt effects, but their writing ranges from perfectly legible to incoherent. After the first and second musical intermissions featuring the song "Foodbeat2b", a real-life video is shown of someone walking down a street in Alberta, Canada. Their camera pans upward to the moon, and suddenly a glowing, pulsing green object is seen noisily flying across the sky. The person runs in panic, and the video begins to break down. Meanwhile, in a computer terminal, transmissions from the [[Rodent Nebula]] are received. Some gopher aliens reveal themselves, declaring who they are and simply that they are invading Earth.

After a brief fake video game loading screen intermission, the music "Rodent Transmission" ([[cflip]]'s version) plays over the next scene. gopher aliens begin to interfere with some of the memes seen prior in the video, applying green filters and audio pitch adjustments to them. They once again affirm that the Earth is receiving a "rodent transmission" from outer space. People and animals alike react to the breaking news with devastation, fear, and anger. In another message from the rulers, they announce that they "do not even like nor condone" the ongoing invasion, and that their militaries will attempt to "poach these green fucking pests". In the second part to the "Rodent Transmission" music section, some gopher aliens, among hamsters, crawl around in various spaces amidst a green filter to the surrounding world. Lines of gopher aliens in green vats are shown sliding across an unknown facility, and the segment ends with footage of UFOs and a gopher alien declaring again that they are invading Earth.

Later on, a man is recording himself looking for his misplaced car. Earlier that evening, a gopher alien broke out of a vat and drove a UFO to Earth to abduct both his car, located in a grassy field, and a singular cow. The gophers send a new transmission; they speak of abducting objects and "taking things away" from the residents of Earth because they want to, but also so that they can conduct experiments. They formally thank the humans on the receiving end of the transmission and sign off. Soon after, a young chimp and a human are walking together in the woods, and the chimp helps them up into his wooden house so that they can remain safe from the gopher aliens. Following this, two green humanoid aliens are shown discussing alien luxuries, and one says that he would prefer "an entire astronomical unit of property in the Cigar Galaxy". Then, the third and final "Foodbeat2b" segment conveys that all of Earth's residents have reached out to the "different aliens" from the Cigar Galaxy to assist in their conflict. The rulers of Earth are now gaining confidence in their ability to fight back for their home planet.

At Centre Block in Canada, a meeting of Earth's greatest minds takes place, where [[Cuggy]], Kjolt, [[RegentMarmot]] and [[Dokter Suess]] are seen seated inside the building. The [[King of Earth]] shows up to announce that he has found a guy who will help them secure this war and defeat the gopher aliens for good; none other than [[Kevin]], returning from ''Kevin War''. He is to lead the charge along with all of Earth's residents and the different aliens. A "VS" screen intermission followed by a short loading screen follows before the war properly begins. Many of Earth's people from the memes shown throughout the video prior return, now having their actions in their source videos repurposed for combat against the gopher aliens. During this, the gopher aliens are shown to have even invaded [[Tunnel Tests|the tunnels]], hoping that it's acceptable to do so despite evidently being at odds with everyone on Earth. A compilation of people combating the invaders ensues, with even the [[Yoper]] briefly appearing to attack a gopher alien floating through outer space. Kevin tells the gopher aliens to surrender, and they promptly flee the planet within seconds.

At Centre Block, the King of Earth and the different aliens congratulate everyone for their victory and bestow a gift upon Kevin for his efforts; an entire astronomical unit of property in the Cigar Galaxy. It is said that he would settle down there for a while after the conflict settled, and that peace returned to Earth.
